If you want to add a waypoint to your map in-game, it is very simple; just -

1. Right-click on the spot on the map where you want the waypoint.
2. Select Add Waypoint from the drop down list (Image 1).
3. Enter a note for the waypoint and click the "Create" button (Image 2).
