This guide will outline both the resources needed to craft the various pieces of armour for each tier, as well as the base statistics for each item. It is an ongoing project, and will be updated as new information and tiers are available. It is sorted by tier, then further broken down into armour type, and common/rare where applicable.

Where can you learn Armorsmithing?
Armorsmithing is learned from trainers in the resource zones, Poitain, Purple Lotus Swamp, and Lacheish Plains. These trainers will give you two quests to craft four pieces of armour in a tier and then to hand the eight completed items back into them. Once you hand in a quest you may need to wait about 5 minutes before the trainer will offer you the next quest, provided you are of the appropriate level. Each tier requires the following character levels:
- Tier 1 - level 40
- Tier 2 - level 50
- Tier 3 - level 60
- Tier 4 - level 70
- Tier 5 - level 75
- Tier 6 - level 80
See the Armorsmith Quests page for more information.
What is needed for Armorsmithing?
Armorsmithing uses the following resources in crafting:
- Cloth (Cotton, Silk, Ironsilk)
- Leather (Rough, Calloused, Gnarled)
- Base Metal (Copper, Iron, Duskmetal)
- Precious Metal (Silver, Electrum, Gold)
- Wood (Ash, Yew, Oak)
- Stone (Sandstone, Granite, Basalt)
- Rare resources (varies for different armour types; T2 and T3 resources only).
A different combination of these resources is needed to craft the different items an armorsmith can create.
Note: There is one other requirement needed for armorsmithing, which is an Armorsmith's Workshop (player city building). In order to craft Tier 4 items a Tier 1 workshop is needed, a Tier 2 workshop is needed for Tier 5 crafting, and a Tier 3 workshop is needed for Tier 6 crafting.
Gem Sockets
Crafted armour have the following amount of gem sockets
Green Items - 1 gem slot, size 1
Blue Items - 3 gem slots, size 2
What Needs What?
All resources used are listed as Tier (# of resource used) and for the creation of green items. To create a blue item USUALLY all that is needed is the addition of a rare resource, however there may be some items which require increased normal resources.

Rewriting this to match the Weaponsmith Guide page.
I will be spelling words as "armour" and "armorsmith/ing".
Created this as a new page with the page name spelled correctly.
