TOG Calendar

Page history last edited by Tenabrae 1 yr ago

The guild calendar is a useful tool for organising events. In future we will be encouraging players to use the calendar to plan events both in terms of signing up to event such as raids which may need formalised gorupings or just as an easy to use source of information as to whats going on in the guild.

you can access the guild calendar here.

How to sign up to the guild calendar:

Go to tog-gwahlur.guildlaunch.com

Click Create New Account at the top left.

Pretty standard sign-up forms follow, enter email address, username, blah blah.

On page 2 select "Yes, I would like to apply to this guild...<blah>"

On page 3 enter the launch code which you can find in the TOG private forum thread or ask an officer. This will automate your guild joining process so that an officer doesn't need to authorise you.

After you log in I would suggest going to your "My User Page" and updating your local time.

How to make a character:

Click guild roster in the left hand menu.

Click "Add character to TOG"

Enter your character details.

You can enter as many characters as you wish.

Signing up for an event (e.g. a raid or PvP event):

Click Guild Calendar

Click the event you wish to attend

Note that event times are shown in PST regardless of your local time setting. If you have set your local time in your "My User Page" hovering over the event time will pop up a tooltip with your local time for that event. This is a limitation of the calendar software which is otherwise excellent so please be patient with it.

Click signups next to the event name.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to the signup info panels.

Enter your signup info, toon you're signing up with, any notes (e.g. if you might be a bit late, if you're only tentative, etc.

Note that you can read other people's notes so if you have any requests it is possible to put them in a note (e.g. not sure how to get there, can someone show me on the night ?)
