Weaponsmithing

To become a Weaponsmith, visit the Weaponsmith Trainer in either of the three Resource and Building zones, Poitain, Lachish Plains, or Purple Lotus Swamp.

The Weaponsmith Trainer will give you seven quests to create nine items. These quests can be done in any order, but all seven quests must be completed before you can start work on the next Tier.

Quests obtained in one of the R&B zones may be handed in to the equivalent trainer in one of the other zones.

Quest Log

Ensure you have at least two (2) spots free in your quest log.

There have been numerous reports of players attempting to take crafting quests without enough space in their quest log, after which they have been unable to obtain the quest to make the items, or unable to hand in the completed quest.

You will need one spot for each of the crafting quests, and another for the over-all Weaponsmithing quest itself.

Shopping Lists

You will need the following materials for each set of Tier quests. You will also need the amount of coin listed to purchase the appropriate Hilts, Handles and Bowstrings from the Trade vendor in town.

Tip: When purchasing the trade materials, you can sort the items by cost to make it easier to find the ones you need.

* Crafting Tier 4 weapons requires access to a Tier 1 Blacksmith's Workshop, Tier 5 weapons need a Tier 2 Workshop, and Tier 6 weapons a Tier 3 Workshop.

Handing in

You may use the weapons before you return to the Trainer to hand in your quest, but for the Swords and Bludgeons you must hand in both the One-Handed and Two-Handed weapons at the same time.

You can also create multiple copies of any weapon before handing in the quest.

The only real benefit from handing in the quest sooner, rather than later, is that it frees up space in your quest log.
