This guide will outline both the resources needed to craft the various weapons for each tier, as well as the base statistics for each weapon. It is an ongoing project, and will be updated as new information and tiers are available. It is sorted by tier, then further broken down into weapon type, and common/rare where applicable.

Weapon Charts

Tier 1 Weapons

Tier 2 Common Weapons - Tier 2 Rare Weapons

Tier 3 Common Weapons - Tier 3 Rare Weapons

Tier 4 Common Weapons - Tier 4 Rare Weapons

Tier 5 Common Weapons - Tier 5 Rare Weapons

Tier 6 Common Weapons - Tier 6 Rare Weapons

Where Does One Learn Weaponsmithing?

Weaponsmithing is learned from trainers in the resource zones, Poitain, Purple Lotus Swamp, and Lacheish Plains. These trainers will give you a quest to craft one of each basic item in a tier and then to hand the item back into them. Once you hand in a quest you may need to wait about 5 minutes before the trainer will offer you the next quest, provided you are of the appropriate level. Each tier requires the following levels:

  • Tier 1 - level 40
  • Tier 2 - level 50
  • Tier 3 - level 60
  • Tier 4 - level 70
  • Tier 5 - level 75
  • Tier 6 - level 80

See the Weaponsmith Quests page for more information.

What is Needed for Weaponsmithing?

Weaponsmithing uses the following resources in crafting:

  • Wood (Ash, Yew, Oak)
  • Precious Metal (Silver, Electrum, Gold)
  • Hard Metals (Copper, Iron, Duskmetal)
  • Rare Metals (Tin, Aurichalcum, Blue Iron)

A different combination of these resources is needed to craft each item a weaponsmith can create.

Note: There is one other requirement needed for weaponsmithing, which is a Weaponsmith's Workshop (player city building). In order to craft Tier 4 items a Tier 1 workshop is needed, a Tier 2 workshop is needed for Tier 5 crafting, and a Tier 3 workshop is needed for Tier 6 crafting.

Gem Sockets

Crafted weapons have the following amount of gem sockets

Green Weapons - 1 gem slot, size 1

Blue Weapons - 3 gem slots, size 2

What Needs What?

All resources used are listed as Tier (# of resource used) and for the creation of green items. To create a blue item USUALLY all that is needed is the addition of a rare metal, however, there are 1 or 2 items that need increased normal resources.
